Gill fuel level sensors use solid-state capacitive technology to detect the level of gasoline, petroleum, jet fuel and other fuel types and grades.
Our range of fuel level sensors are designed to provide very high accuracy and reliability in the harshest of environments including temperature and vibration.
Each sensor offers a fully configurable analogue 0-5V output, typically calibrated 0.25V empty, 4.75V full (fuel level switches offer 0/5V switch). The non-contact sensors are factory-calibrated in the relevant fuel type and can be re-calibrated by the customer with our free software, if required.
The R-Series and Rxl fuel level sensors feature a standard SAE 5-bolt mount and are built to your exact length requirement, eliminating the necessity for mechanical length adjustment prior to installation. For specialist applications we can design and manufacture full-custom fuel level sensors on very short lead times, often with no minimum order requirement. In addition, we also offer customised fuel level switches for point-level feedback.
Our capacitive level sensors have been installed in pressurised tanks, full submersion, inverted or angled installations, and with fast response rates, damped response (to reduce effects of fuel slosh) and other specialist installations.
